Mom said that Strider wouldn’t go near any of her chew toys today, since she got the big hard plastic one stuck on her jaw last night.
Let me just whip up a quick visual aid:
So the toy was stuck BEHIND her bottom front teeth, and she was in a lot of pain. She got it off by (I assume) shaking her head and twisting it off. When I saw the splatter of her blood on the wall, I decided I didn’t want to know.
But anyway, I digress. My mom said she wouldn’t go near her (safe) chew toys all day. So I grabbed one and, after about five minutes of saying, “It’s okay, Strider. It won’t hurt you”, she took it in her mouth. I guess she really wanted it, because she chewed on it for hours.
